Students try out their German
The 10th class Aabenraa has this year started an experiment, where pupils are given the opportunity to be challenged on their German language knowledges, while they are doing work experience at selected transport companies in Padborg.
The purpose of this initiative is to make the pupils interested in education in the transport industry and at the same time to raise their awareness of how important it is to speak and understand German. A total of 12 pupils have signed up to follow this “German business” course.
At HPT we have the pleasure to meet Casper and Magnus. They are allowed to try out the forces in the warehouse, the truck department and other areas in our company – and now and again, they are taking a ride with the drivers. Of course, we make sure they are primarily together with our German colleagues.
Following today’s introduction from Udo Steffensen, Casper and Magnus are fitted with safety shoes and safety vests and are ready for today’s tasks.
