Organization and owner alterations
With effect from 1st May 2009 and as a part of the generational change Peter Therkelsen has become member of the board of directors and shareholder of H. P. Therkelsen A/S and was appointed Vice-director with the responsibility for business operations.

At the same time the number of owners has been extended, and by the 1st Mai 2009 Key Account Manager Kim Moldt and Key Account Manager Michael Olsson have become shareholders of H. P. Therkelsen A/S.

Kim Moldt and Michael Olsson retain their leadership role as Key Account Manager, however without direct managerial responsibility for the departments import and export. This in order to concentrate fully on the sales, servicing customers, contracts, markets and development of the company.

Management and owner of H. P. Therkelsen, Managing director Mogens Therkelsen, see it as a reasonable and quite natural development and an investment in the future. The above is a step to implement a current generational change over the next year.

Market
HPT has recently strengthened its position in particular the German market, where we through a strong inflow of new customers has achieved an even larger and geographically wider freight volume, which helps to ensure more frequent departures to good market conditions for our customers in both import and export relations.

Business prize
HPT was on the 15th April 2009 presented with Padborg Udviklingscenters (Padborg Development Center) annual business prize, which we are very proud of and honored. The rationale for the prize is that HPT over half a century has changed the face of transport and forwarding and business development in general in Padborg and surroundings.

We are pleased to continue to be our customers’ extended “arm” in the logistic field.
